Both of the GROM Ops are women but I don’t know much about them to say if there any women Ops in the real GROM. Like there wouldn’t be a female GSG9 Operator. It feels forced, like having a Navy SEAL that is both a woman AND has tattoos (which is fuckin stupid by the way), it’s just not realistic if you’re modeling Ops off real CTUs. Battlefield did it with the women in combat things, it’s not like it’s an issue but it’s weird and out of place, especially in a game where it features real CTUs that are dominated by men but add women for no reason (if we’re going for realism here at least in respect to real CTUs). It kind of fits with this new age inclusive culture of equally involving people into things just to be fair in video games. TLDR: In awe of the absolute size of Gridlock, but it doesn't belong in a game about spec ops. But it doesn't fit with the narrative Ubi is trying to create within R6. She's a big girl, which there's nothing wrong with. I understand that there has to be a certain suspension of disbelief in any game, but in a game that is supposed to showcase the most elite special forces units in the world I feel like there has to be some kind of resemblance of reality woven in. To me it seems like Ubi designed this operator to be more socially aware, in the same way that Blizzard has with their characters in Overwatch (although the Soldier 76 thing seemed unnecessary). Which is fine, except there's no way in hell she would be fit for duty in any special forces unit on the planet. While BMI doesn't always account for muscle mass, and can sometimes be skewed by numerous external factors outside of just body fat, it doesn't take a health professional to notice that Gridlock isn't muscle mass.

For reference, a BMI of 30 > is classified as 'obese'. However, trying to say she's an active member of the SASR while maintaining a BMI of 32 is straight up not possible.
